Summer Internship

Our Osage Kids & Students ministries are devoted to investing in our nursery-12th grade students to become followers of Jesus who connect Christ to where they live. Through weekly teaching, small groups, fun events, and serving opportunities, our goal is to equip our young people to love Jesus fully and be a light in their community. We are looking for a hardworking, Jesus-loving individual who is passionate about youth, kids, and family ministry and can contribute insight and leadership to this ministry. During this internship, you will mentor students, help plan and execute classes and events, and help with other responsibilities within these ministries.

An Osage Hills Christian Church Internship is for those who have completed one or more years of college or its equivalent. Within a specific area of ministry, interns will be given ministry responsibilities, receive weekly coaching from their supervisor, and leadership and spiritual development from the Senior Pastor and others.

• Weekly Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Wednesday, 12:00  PM – 9:00 PM; Sunday, 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM; and Ministry Special Events
• Work Location: In-Person at Osage Hills Christian Church
• Department/Ministry Area: Osage Kids & Students
• Position Reports To: Associate Pastor
• Position Classification: Full-Time; Temporary

• Help plan and execute Osage Kids on Sunday mornings
• Help plan and execute Osage Students services on Sunday nights
• Mentor high school students
• Plan and teach curriculum
• Attend and provide leaders at summer camps
• Plan and organize summer events for students

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A consistent and passionate relationship with Jesus Christ
• Is an immersed/baptized believer
• Accept and support the Osage Hills Christian Church Vision and Values
• Exhibit a servant’s heart and willingness to get the job done well and on time
• Ensure good stewardship of ministry funds and resources
• Act as a positive representative of Osage Hills Christian Church at all times
• Maintain complete confidentiality with all sensitive pieces of information
• Communicate and present information to others in a clear, complete, and concise way
• Have a good sense of humor and ability to have fun while working hard as part of a team
• Exhibit a heart of passion, humility, and integrity
• Maintain a positive attitude while being mission-driven

$200 per week with love offering at the end of the internship.

Last week of May 2024 (after the semester ends) through the first week of August 2024 (before the next semester begins, if applicable).
