Hi Church Family!

What an amazing weekend! If you missed Sunday’s service, it was an exciting day for us. Yesterday, we launched a new capital campaign called Open Doors! We are taking our next step in connecting Christ to where we live by renovating our main building. We are going to move forward with the project so many of you might already be familiar with: create a new front entrance, a new lobby, new bathrooms, a new sensory room, a new kids check-in system, and much more. We gave a brief snapshot of what things will look like. We will provide more details over the coming weeks.

This is a big step forward for Osage Hills, and I know it’s exciting and scary at the same time. Obviously, we want to answer any questions you might have about the project. We have made the information public and created a webpage on our site and a page in our app so you can be involved. But here are two important dates concerning the campaign that you will not want to miss.

April 27 – Live Q & A

Mark your calendar for the Sunday after Easter! During Sunday service, we will go over more details about the campaign, timeframe, and project and answer any questions you may have.

May 4 – Pledge Day

We will begin taking pledges on May 4, but keep the opportunity open throughout the month.

We want to be unified as we move forward, and there are things we want you to do as we prepare. First, please be in prayer! We want to keep our focus on the “why” of this campaign (this is on the brochure from Sunday and online). Second, commit to the vision to reach the ONE. God has put you in a place to reach someone who is far from him. Be courageous and share the love of Christ with them.

I am looking forward to what God is going to do through this step! Feel free to contact me with any questions in the meantime. Join me in prayer as we prepare, and we will see you Sunday!
