We are updating times for the weekend experience!

We are looking forward to a more united weekend as we adjust our times so we can worship together! Our leadership has been talking and praying about this for a number of months and the time is finally here!!!

So…drumroll…..

Mark your calendars because August 6 we are adjusting our times to as follows:

  • 9 am – Sunday School

  • 10:30 am – Worship Service

That’s right, we will only be having one hour for Sunday school and one hour for worship. That way we can be together and grow in unity with one another. If God continues to work in our lives, and we expect He will, then we will consider multiple worship services again. But for now, we are convince that God is leading us to move in this direction for unity and encouragement.

I want to encourage you to invite your neighbors, friends and family to join us for this special weekend! Come at 9 am and connect with others as we begin new classes for parents and newcomers. Then meet up with everyone in the worship center to celebrate and commune together at 10:30 am. Kids programs will still be going on, and students in middle and high school will have their own class and join the adults in the worship service.

Some may be asking why this was important for us to do, and there are a few reasons. One, we want families to be able to worship together. Some of our students were attending class while the rest of the family was in worship service. We’d rather have families worship together because those kinds of experiences shape and encourage relationships in the Lord.

Second, unity is a big part of the church. Paul talks about unity often. Jesus prayed about it in John 17. By adjusting our weekend services, we believe we are cultivating an atmosphere that nurtures unity. We get to see each other and worship together. Such experiences are encouraging and something to look forward to.

We also look forward to what God is doing next at Osage and we want you to be a part of it! As always, if you have any questions, reach out and we will get back with you. See you Sunday!
