How do we accomplish the vision?

We accomplish this by making sure Osage is a place that equips people to foster a personal relationship with God, trains people to prioritize Christ in the home, encourages involvement in the church community as the place for deep and meaningful relationships, and connects with the surrounding community. These are the Reaches of Osage! We Reach Up to connect with God, Reach Down to lift others up in their relationship with God, Reach Across to enjoy the fellowship we share because we are connected to God, and Reach Out to connect Christ to where we live.

This is all great, and we want to see these things happen. But these kinds of things do not happen in a vacuum, and it takes more than 2 full-time staff members, 2 part-time staff members, and 4 elders to do the work.

WE ALL NEED TO BE DOING IT!

We are the people who go and take Jesus to people; we are to go make disciples. We live on mission for Christ and do not allow obstacles to get in the way of obedience to his call, obstacles such as the past, tradition, or personal preferences. We are the new creation who are willing to do new things because the old has gone and the new has come! We are aligning who we are with the desires of the one who saved us, and he wants more people in his kingdom.

How do we ensure we are aligned and involved in the activity of Christ as a church?

Well, what is Jesus passionate about? We will talk about that in our next video.
