Hey everyone! I’m sure that with the announcement of changes at the end of service, a lot of questions filled your mind as to how it will work. Just to recap, starting in January, our services will be at 9 and 10:30 am with Sunday school classes happening during the services. There are some things we will able to address later on as we get closer to the change, but here’s a few answers to questions I have received:

Are teachers supposed to teach during both services?

They can if they want but are not expected to. Basically, the teachers will choose a time to hold their class and encourage everyone to attend the service in the other time slot.

What’s happening with my kids between the services?

We are designing this break between services to provide opportunity for the church to cross paths, to Reach Across. This time is available for everyone, so kids will need to be picked up to join their parents for a time of connection.

When is my current class going to meet?

Honestly, I’m not sure. That will be up to the class leader.

Can I teach?

Yes! We’ve just opened up many additional classrooms for new classes to begin! This is a great time for some who’ve been needing an opportunity to serve to get involved.

What about those who serve in the kids ministry?

How that will work is being worked on right now. The hope is that those who serve during one period will be able to attend a service during the other period. That way all can be connected in a service as well.

I’m sure there are many other questions you have, and I welcome them! Send me an email, meet at my office, or let’s go to lunch and talk about it. I’m very much looking forward to what God is doing and is about to do in Osage with our next step!

God bless,

Nate
